08:00 hrs – we will pick up all of the passengers
from their respective hotels and begin the drive out
the starting point of the tour at 5,000 meters.
10:00 hrs – We will take some time to acclimate to
the altitude for a couple of hours before setting
off on the trek.
12:30 hrs – After ascending for a couple of hours,
we will arrive to our base camp at just over 5,225
meters. That is where we will have our lunch for the
day and relax for the rest of the afternoon.
Dinner. Rest at the base camp for the night.
DAY
03:00 hrs – We will wake up with a hot tea before
starting the next portion of ascent to the crest of
the mount. The walk will last us about 6 hours, and
we will eat a box lunch as we walk.
09:00 hrs – Arrival to the crest of the mountain
around mid morning. The crest stands at an immense
altitude of 6,075 meters, and so we will be rewarded
with some truly amazing views of the volcanic
mountain range that is spread out around us.
09:30 hrs – after appreciating the views for a
little bit we will start to make our way back down
the mountain to the base camp.
11:30 hrs - We will continue to descend the mountain
until we arrive to our transportation. We will
arrive back to Arequipa in the early afternoon and
you will be transferred to your hotels.
