After breakfast, we will depart by bus in
the direction of the town of Yaurisque, which is where
we will find the trailhead as well as some great views
of some beautiful Incan agricultural terraces.
Afterwards, we will need to descend to Puma Orqo, which
according to legend, is where the mythical Ayar brothers
came from. Towards the evening time, we will continue
walking until we reach our destination, Mauk'a Llaqta,
where we will set up camp for the night.
Day 2:
Mauk'a Llaqta - Cusco
After a enjoying a healthy breakfast, we
will have a tour of the archaeological site, hearing
about the history of the ruins as we make our way though
the urban, religious, agricultural and residential
districts. Upon finishing the guided tour of the site,
we will continue down the mountain to Huaynacancha,
where will catch our transportation back to the city of
Cusco.
