DAY 1
CUZCO - MANU LODGE
Early in the morning: departure from Cuzco iMabun a 45 minutes flight to Boca Manu, in the outlet of the Manu River. Then a 4 hour trail across the Manu River to Manu Lodge being able to see –among others– big black caimans and perhaps even a magnificent jaguar. We spend the night in the lodging.
DAY 2
MANU - LAKE OXBOW JUAREZ
Morning excursion by the trails close to the Manu Lodge. Enjoy the primitive Oxbow Juarez that lodges communities of rare birds, monkeys and caimans. Sometimes families of giant otters visit the lake and groups of monkeys can be seen from the lodging.
DAY 3
MANU - BALCONIES
At dawn a visit to the balconies near the lodging will grant you a sight of some species of primates and birds. In the afternoon, excursion by boat to a spectacular roosting of guacamayos and parrots and their nests.

DAY 4
MANU
Trip by boat to other systems of trails and oxbow lakes, such as the Saviour Lake where the visitors will make an excursion in a catamaran. They will learn about a series of medicinal plants that grow up in the wet woods.
DAY 5
MANU - CUZCO
Transfer by boat to Boca Manu to aboard the flight to Cuzco.
Itinerary can be changed according to the weather conditions.
The 2 days camping trips in the collpa of the guacamayos are only available on the 8-day itinerary..
